Accessible Transportation for Eligible Riders
TakeTRAX is committed to providing accessible transportation services that help individuals maintain their independence and stay connected to the community. ParaTRAX is an ADA complementary paratransit service designed for eligible individuals whose disabilities prevent them from using the regular fixed-route TRAX bus service.
This shared-ride, reservation-based service provides transportation throughout the ParaTRAX service area, helping riders access healthcare, shopping, employment, community resources, and other important destinations.
Who May Qualify for ADA Services?
ParaTRAX is designed for individuals whose disability or medical condition prevents them from independently using the fixed-route TRAX bus system. Eligibility is determined through the ADA certification process and may apply to riders with a variety of mobility, sensory, cognitive, or developmental limitations.

Difficulty Traveling to a Bus Stop
Visual Impairments
Cognitive or Developmental Disabilities
Limited Mobility
Inability to Wait at a Bus Stop
